This is a great hotel by the San Antonio Riverwalk. The service was great, the breakfast was good ($18/person but you can get 2 adults free when they have a promotion). The riverwalk is right on the lowest level and the Alamo is just a short walk away.
Tips:
1) Parking is NOT free. $25 (overnight)if you want to have the convenient of parking right across from the hotel. You can save money by parking at the garage on Houston and Navaro (note that the entrance to this parking is on College) for $9 for 24 hours.
Note:
During holidays, you might have to get into the garage before 4pm to get the $9 deal. If you get in after 4pm, you will have to pay $8 CASH in advance to park until 8am in the morning. After 8am it will be $2 every half an hour. Check with the person at the gate just in case.
2) Check the http://www.visitsanantonio.com website for coupon code. I got mine for $99 with 2 free breakfast (adults). Kids' breakfast are free.
3) You can request for a room with a refrigerator. If the frig is filled with things that they're trying to sell, just take take them out and leave them on the side. You will be billed right away so call them and let them know. On the day that you check out, you will need to put everything back (don't worry about the order) and let them know so they can adjust the bill.
