My sister had a really weird with your home network the other day. The symptom was that whenever she tried to login Yahoo Mail. It keeps giving the following error message:
"Automatic page updates causing problems with your screen reader."
We tried both the laptop and desktop and they both had the same problem using IE and Chrome browses. First thought came to mind was either virus or spywares was causing the problem so I ran the Antivirus program and it found...nothing. I was a little puzzled and thought maybe the latest Windows update would resolve the problem. I used Google to search for the windows updates. The results came back but when I click on the links on the page, it was giving some kind of weird errors (I forgot what the errors were).
I then tried playing with the security and others and nothing works. I even login to the router and check to see if anyone else was hacking my router. But nothing...
I even reboot the machines but nothing.
I did not know why but something was telling me that it might be the router so I unplug the power from the router and plug the network cable from the desktop directly to the DSL box. To my surprise, everything was working. I then connect the network cables back to what I had originally and plug in the power for the router. That did resolve the weird problem.
BTW, I did google the problem but did not find any solution to this problem using my home computer of course. Hope this help save you time and headache if you're having the same problem. Good luck.
