Dallas World Aquarium

What a gem. You can't really compare this place to a full blown aquarium but this is by far the best (to me at least) designed aquarium/zoo. It is not large but everything is well organized. They have (almost) everything. Sharks, Stingrays, Sea Stars, See Horses, Monkeys, Flamingos, Parrots, Penguins, Turtles, Birds, Crocodiles Snakes, and a lot more. They have touch screens for most of the exhibits where you can find more information about the animals. It has a glass tunnel where sharks and stingrays swimming above. Our 4 year-old boy loves  this place. He didn't want to leave that place. You can spend 2-3 hours there. Most of the exhibits (except the penguins exhibits) are indoors so getting a good picture is a challenge. I would highly recommend bring a camcorder instead. Definitely a must see when you're in Dallas.
